28th Spanish Congress of Psychiatry

From the Organizing Committee of the XXVIII National Congress of Psychiatry, we invite you to participate in a new edition of the Congress, which will be held in Zaragoza, on November 6, 7 and 8, 2025.

From the Organizing and Scientific Committee, we are working with dedication to offer a complete and updated scientific program, we seek to make the Congress a first-class event. In this sense, we invite and encourage the members of the Spanish Society of Psychiatry and Mental Health to submit their proposals for the general program in the following categories: Symposia, Meetings with the Expert, Pioneering Research Projects, Courses, Workshops, as well as Posters and Oral Communications.

With your proposals, which will be evaluated by an independent Scientific Committee, which is renewed each edition, we will work to prepare a scientific program in which, together with the problems of daily clinical practice, updates will be addressed that include the diagnostic and therapeutic novelties of our specialty; without forgetting cutting-edge research, new technologies and teaching innovations.

The Aragonese capital, which hosts the current edition of the National Congress of Psychiatry, will be the setting for this event whose main objective is to generate a climate of encounter and in-depth debate, where knowledge can be shared and our practices updated.

As usual, prior to the opening of the doors of the Congress, on November 5, the Assistance Forum and the Social Forum will be held. The Assistance Forum is aimed at psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, with the aim of exchanging experiences through debates on current issues. On the other hand, the Social Forum, open to all civil society, seeks to promote debate and the exchange of experiences between people living with mental disorders, family members, associations, public figures and psychiatrists, in order to alleviate the lack of knowledge about mental disorders that exists in society and that causes the stigma of people with these pathologies.

We also want to call on younger psychiatrists to actively participate in the Congress. It will be an excellent opportunity to present their work, train and broaden their professional horizons.

We look forward to seeing you in Zaragoza, the ”City of the Four Cultures”, at the most important meeting of psychiatry in Spain and a forum for scientific and social exchange between professionals in our discipline.
