Since 2007, the Institute of Psychiatry of King’s College London has regularly exported its worldwide reputation for psychiatric research and clinical care to the centre of the Mediterranean. The Mediterranean Maudsley Forum (MMF) has become a unique meeting point for sharing knowledge, fostering collaboration, and exploring new perspectives in psychiatry.
Thus, in this tradition of new learning and experiences, the 11th MMF continues to provide an update on social, psychological and biological aspects of psychiatric disorders, reviewing both advances in understanding the disorders and exciting new treatment methods.
Attendees who wish can submit an Abstract for our poster presentation; the deadline for the Abstract submission is the 1st of April 2026.
Who is the 11th MMF for?
The Forum is designed for: Psychiatrists, Clinical psychologists. Mental health professionals, Neuroscientists, and Students eager to learn about the latest developments in psychiatry
Around 100 participants are expected to join from across Europe and beyond, creating a vibrant atmosphere with plenty of opportunities for interaction, networking, and cultural exchange.
For those who can’t attend in person, the MMF can also be attended via live-streaming .
Therefore, if you are unable to travel to Palermo you can still join us online, take part live in all the talks, as well as actively participate to the Q&A sessions. The MMF content will be uploaded on a private YouTube channel so that you can also listen to the talks in your own time.
