SIP national congresses are traditionally the main point of reference for updating\, exchange and meeting between mental health specialists on the Italian territory. The 2025 edition\, entitled ”Psychiatry 2030 agenda: complexity\, change\, sustainability” aims to address the main issues related to mental health with an eye to the future\, with a view to renewal that prepares professionals for the challenges of the coming decades. In fact\, there are many changes that have involved psychiatry in recent decades\, and which must be taken into account. From the dimensional and transnosographic revolution that has led to an overcoming of the categorical system\, to the emerging phenotypes of mental disorders\, up to social changes that require an adequate modulation of care modalities.
